Not only do “Who’s Eddie?” enjoy huge club success, but the band have had no less than 3 top ten hit singles in the national charts, as well as supporting Rod Stewart, Belinda Carlisle, East 17 and Boyzone to name but a few.

The 12” single of one of their hits, “Take me up”, was serviced to DJ’s all over “clubland” in the U.K., and it received only one reaction, “top tune”. The track also went to no.5 in the Dance charts in the U.K.

More recently, Keith co-wrote and produced “We’ve Got The World Tonight!” for Mickey Harte in last years Eurovision Song Contest. Not bad for a family band! Watch this space!

His send-ups of famous bands and singers have become legendary around the country. From Daniel O’Donnell to the Spice Girls, Paul leaves no stone unturned in his commitment to slagging off the rich and famous.

His original Zany wit has taken him all around the world. Paul performs in the Canary Islands every year and is a big hit with the package holiday brigade. Paul has also performed for Irish Societies in such exotic places as Hong Kong, Zambia, Botswana, South Africa, Moscow, Iceland, and of course the United States, Last March the Irish Society of Uganda flew him out to perform for their Patrick’s Day function.

Paul has appeared many times on R.T.E and has worked as a comedy script writer on some TV and Radio programmes. Paul has an Album called ‘an Ass in the Pane’, which has sold over 10,000 copies to date. And his single Living next door to Albert, about the former Taoiseach Albert Reynolds, went to number one in the Irish charts. Paul is currently negotiating a deal with a major recording company to produce a number of videos over the next few years.

A Taste Of Meatloaf is reckoned to be the best Meat Loaf tribute act around and it not hard to see why, They are simply brilliant. They look and sound so much like Meat Loaf they really do become him on stage with costumes lightning and sound, the theatrics are awesome.

The show starts off with the massive hit “I’d Do Anything For Love (But I Wont Do That)” and then through a brilliant set that finishes with “Bat Out Of Hell”.

This fantastic show is a must for all true Meatloaf fans.

He then formed the legendary rock group Skid Row, with guitar supremo Gary Moore. Skid Row who signed to CBS Records were once tipped for major stardom, releasing two critically acclaimed albums, Skid Row in 1970 and 34 Hours in 1971 and touring America and Europe. Despite regular line-up changes, the group continued to survive into the late 1970’s before Brush decided to call it a day and to concentrate on a solo career.

He was an immediate success as a solo artist and continues to charm audiences up and down the country with his energy charged live shows and humorous observations of the ordinary, everyday aspects of life in modern Ireland. His version of “The Fields of Athenry” was a huge hit a few years ago and he regularly records both original songs and his own unique interpretations of well known tunes.

With his quick-fire delivery, hilarious monologues on topical issues and incisive wit, Brush has been a much sought-after guest and panellist on TV and Radio shows over the years. He is a regular guest on shows like the Late Late Show and Joe Duffy’s LiveLine.

In recent year’s there have been calls for Brush to take a leaf out of Dana’s book and run for the Presidency! Brush, however, has not yet declared his interest – after all, it’s a long way from Skid Row to Aras an Uachtaran. The country could certainly expect “all kinds of everything” with Brush installed in the highest office in the land!

A rare talent and one of the few all-round entertainers – there are very few people who could be described as showbiz legends – Brush Shiels is surely one of them!

Before pursuing comedy on a full time basis, Brendan spent ten years entertaining the audiences of “Jury’s Irish Cabaret”. during which time he toured all over the U.S.A., Australia and New Zealand.

In the last number of years Brendan has entertained all over Ireland and the United Kingdom in Golf Clubs, Corporate Functions and has given after dinner speeches at Award Dinners for Ireland’s crème de la crème

Brendan has also entertained the Ambassador of the United States of America, as well as working with many well known and loved Irish artists which include: Joe Dolan, Dickie Rock, Red Hurley, Brendan Bowyer, The Dubliners, The Furey Brothers and The Wolfe Tones.

Some years ago, Brendan broke the world record for telling the most jokes without repeating.
